- Bitter APT used different threat vectors such as malicious domains, compromised websites, and third-party hosting providers.
- The hackers posed as fake persons on the internet, luring their victims to click on malware-infected links.
- Bitter is believed to be based in Southeast Asia and is known for using a malware variant named Dracarys.
- The second hacker group that was caught using Facebook to breach users is APT36, a hacker group that deploys LazaSpy.

Researchers believe that Chinese hackers may be cyberattacking eastern European countries and Afghanistan. The hackers used phishing emails to target different industries and businesses. More: - The report was made by Kaspersky, as researchers stated that the threat actor targeted industrial plants, design bureaus, research institutes, government agencies, ministries, and departments.
- Hackers used a Microsoft Word security flaw tracked CVE-2017-11882 to breach their targets by infecting their victim's devices with PortDoor malware.
- Researchers believe that the threat actor responsible for the breach is APT TA428, a Chinese hacker group known for previously having targeted governments in Asia.

FBI agents have been sent to Albania to help the law authorities investigate the recent government data breach. The Albanian government claims that no sensitive data has been stolen. More: - The news was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku.
- Threat actors managed to paralyze E-Albania, an online system that citizens use to download certificates, pay taxes, see their medical records, etc.
