Ledger Live announced its first successful integration of a DeFi platform. The new integration allows users to swap tokens using ParaSwap directly within their hardware wallet. More: ParaSwap is a DEX aggregator that supports Uniswap, Sushiswap, Balancer, and Curve. Ledger Live provides buy, sell, and stake functionalities for its 1.5M monthly users. Ledger reached unicorn status last week after completing a $380M Series C funding round.

Block.one settled its 2017 EOS class-action lawsuit for $27.5M. The ICO class-action was settled to avoid the “distraction, costs, and risks” of litigation. More: Block.one raised $4B in its EOS ICO, becoming the largest ICO for any blockchain project. The SEC brought a similar lawsuit, which settled for $24M last year. Now free from future meritless litigation, Block.one stated it could finally return to improving its business and delivering new products.

Ramp, Payment Infrastructure: $9M⮕ The seed funding round was led by NFX and Galaxy Digital, with participation from Roham Gharegozlou, Taavet Hinrikus, Charles Dlingpole, Keith Grose, and others. More: The “PayPal for crypto” service provides infrastructure for crypto payments and on-ramps. The startup offers a non-custodial solution for customers to convert fiat into cryptocurrency efficiently. Ramp previously raised a $1.2M pre-seed round in 2018. Rangers Protocol, Blockchain Infrastructure: $63M⮕ The private equity funding round was participated in by Pantera Capital, Huobi Ventures Blockchain Fund, Framework Ventures, Alameda Research, AU21 Capital, SNZ, and others. More: The Shanghai-based startup rebranded from Rocket Protocol ahead of this latest funding round. Rangers Protocol currently offers a cross-chain protocol, NFT platform, and Ethereum Virtual Machine system.
