Predictions of Top 15 Wall Street analysts

Hey Insiders,  As we finish the first week of H2 2022, I wanted to look at the top Wall Street analysts' projections for the rest of 2022.  Among the top 15 analysts, the average expectation is that the S&P 500 will gain more than 20% in H2 2022 to finish at 4,627. This would mean that the S&P 500 would still finish the year down 3%.  Today we are going to look at the specific predictions of the top 10 analysts in more detail.  Liam Liam

Bank of America Merrill Lynch The lead strategist for Bank of America is Savita Subramanian. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,500.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $173.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 26.01 to finish 2022.

Barclays The lead strategist for Barclays is Maneesh Deshpande. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,500.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $223.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 20.18 to finish 2022.

Bank of Montreal The lead strategist for Bank of Montreal is Brian Belski. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,800.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $245.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 19.59 to finish 2022.

Citi The lead strategist for Citi is Scott Chronert. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,200.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $226.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 18.58 to finish 2022.

Credit Suisse The lead strategist for Credit Suisse is Johnathan Golub. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,900.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $235.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 20.85 to finish 2022.

Deutsche Bank The lead strategist for Deutsche Bank is Binky Chadha. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,750.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $230.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 20.65 to finish 2022.

Goldman Sachs The lead strategist for Goldman Sachs is David Kostin. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,300.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $226.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 19.03 to finish 2022.

JPMorgan Chase The lead strategist for JPMorgan is Dubravko Lakos-Bujas. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,900.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $230.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 21.30 to finish 2022.

Morgan Stanley The lead strategist for Morgan Stanley is Mike Wilson. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 3,900.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $225.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 17.33 to finish 2022.

Royal Bank of Canada The lead strategist for RBC is Lori Calvasina. They predict that the S&P 500 will finish 2022 at 4,700.  They predict the average Earnings Per Share in the S&P 500 will be $231.  This gives the S&P 500 an average implied P/E of 20.35 to finish 2022.
