Google announced that it will allow cryptocurrency exchanges to advertise on its platform. Google said that its three-year ban on both exchange and wallet ads will be lifted on August 3. More: Exchanges and wallets will still need to be registered with FinCEN and at least one state, or obtain a federal or state-chartered bank entity, to submit ads. Google will continue banning advertisements relating to ICOs, DeFi protocols, or any other promotions for buying, selling, or trading crypto, including IDOs, liquidity pools, unhosted wallets, and unregulated Dapps. Google initially banned crypto advertising in March of 2018 following a similar policy decision made by Facebook.

Borderless Capital launched a $25M crypto fund. The Borderless.Miami Fund will make direct investments in crypto startups in Miami. More: The fund was created in collaboration with the Algorand Foundation (ALGO) and Circle (USDC). Borderless Capital additionally announced the launch of an accelerator to support Algorand-based crypto startups. Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, a crypto and blockchain advocate, said he supports the project and hopes it will help with his plans to turn Miami into the crypto capital of the world.
