Elastos Weekly Updates — 05 October 2018

While the Chinese Team was on holiday this week, the team in the west was on the move. Feng Han spoke about Elastos at Harvard while the team spoke on a panel at an Elastos sponsored tech conference in Hollywood, and attended Alt Blockchain Week in Atlanta.

Elastos continued its forward momentum this week. Let's recap.


Technical Dynamics 

The React Native framework for creating Elastos DApps is now in development. We welcome everyone to contribute to the framework by visiting https://github.com/cyber-republic/elastos-ReactNative-framework


faucet.elastos.org is now up and running to request for testnet ELA tokens

Elastos Co-founder, Feng Han, signed the memorandum for funding MIT IDE Blockchain Pillar and Fund with Dean of MIT Sloan of School of Management, David Schmittlein and Yasheng Huang

Feng Han was invited to the Harvard Club where he spoke about, "Investing in the value of digital currency and the Elastos trustworthy operating environment which will allow real DApps to scale." Feng also joked about wearing his MIT T-shirt to Harvard and his donation to MIT for the Blockchain Research Pillar and Fund.


October 3

Zach and Clarence spoke on a "Blockchain Revolution and IP" panel at the Hollywood Entertainment Technology Festival

The Team attended the Atlanta Blockchain Week where KP gave a speech alongside other blockchain projects such as ZCash. There are meetups and conferences throughout the week revolving around Blockchain.
