PUBG's developer, Krafton, will collaborate with Solana Labs to develop and market games on the Solana blockchain. With over 1B combined downloads for PUBG on IOS and Android, Krafton certainly brings expertise in scaling an online game to the masses. More: - Krafton has yet to announce if it will bring PUBG into Web3 or if it will develop a separate title for the Solana network.
- As part of the agreement, Krafton and Solana Labs will co-invest in Web3 gaming startups.
- Krafton also announced a separate agreement with Naver Z to build an NFT and Metaverse platform.
- South Korean Naver Z operates its own Metaverse-like gaming platform called Zepeto, which has 20 million monthly active users.

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink believes that the war in Ukraine could expedite digital currency adoption. Fink believes that a global digital payment system can enhance the settlement of international transactions while reducing the risk of money laundering and corruption. More: - Fink also believes that digital currencies will bring down the cost of cross-border payments.
- BlackRock filed to launch a blockchain ETF in Jan. 2022.
- Fink may be changing his tune compared to an earnings call last April where he divulged that investors worldwide were showing little interest in the crypto space.

Bitcoin's 90-day correlation with the S&P 500 rose to 0.49 on Friday — the highest since Oct. 2020. Bitcoin's correlation to the S&P 500 has only been higher on five days throughout the cryptocurrency's history. More: - The correlation is strengthened by the tightening of the U.S. treasury yield curve.
- The yield curve, which represents the spread between the 10- and two-year yields, is only 20 basis points away from inverting.

A new Goldman Sachs survey shows 60% of surveyed clients expect to increase crypto holdings. The bank surveyed 172 of its clients. More: - 60% expect to increase their digital asset holdings in the next one to two years.
- Of that 60%, 32% expect to increase their digital asset holdings significantly in the next one to two years.
- 51% of its clients reported exposure to digital assets, up from 40% last year.
The survey also showed that its clients are interested in avenues outside of Bitcoin and Ethereum - 15% of respondents are interested in having exposure to altcoins.
- 14% are interested in DeFi.
- 9% are interested in NFTs.
