Coinbase announces Japan will now get to experience the worst customer service in their entire life.

What's interesting here is that the trend has been exchanges leaving Japan (i.e., Kraken, Binance).
Perhaps this is because Japan isn't very cool with privacy coins (XMR, ZEC, DASH) and those exchanges couldn't operate profitably without support from Japan's regulatory body.
Coinbase currently doesn't have these. But will it? Probably (since everyone is on the Zcash train).
Looks like his official title is "Associate Director of the Division of Corporation Finance and Senior Advisor for Digital Assets and Innovation for Division Director Bill Hinman."
As a redditor pointed out, good luck introducing yourself at parties.
