1. The price of bitcoin cash jumped more than $100 on Sunday, hitting its highest price in more than a month. The price increase comes as the fourth-largest cryptocurrency nears a controversial hard fork that should take place near the middle of this month. 2. Today marks the final day to submit comments to the US Securities and Exchange Commission on nine bitcoin ETF proposals. The ETFs come from Direxion, Proshares and GraniteShares. The proposals were rejected in August, but reports suggest that was due to the SEC's commissioners delegating the reviews to their staff. There is a belief that approval of these, or any, bitcoin-related ETFs could cause bitcoin's price to increase. –NEWS BTC

3. The price of ethereum has seen some momentum in the past week. The cryptocurrency has risen more than 8 percent over the last seven days, including four percent on Sunday. The increase coincides with some good news around the coin: Last week J.P. Morgan Chase said it had created an enterprise version of the ethereum blockchain. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin signaled that a switch to proof-of-stake is "no longer so far away" during a speech at a developers conference. –FORBES

4. IBM has applied for yet another blockchain patent, this one aimed at augmented reality. The company's patent describes a blockchain-base method and system of interactions that can maintain safe boundaries between AR objects and real-world physical locations. IBM has filed at least 90 blockchain-related patents in the past two years. –COIN TELEGRAPH
