It's finally here, after over a year of tireless effort and building, the IOST mainnet is set to launch today!
We want to thank you all, the community for sticking with us and supporting us over the last year, it has been a wild ride with many up and downs (literally) and we are so proud to have all of you as supporters of the IOST network.
We have been releasing lots of updates and content over the past week, plus IOST's CEO, Jimmy will be live streaming the IOST mainnet launch live on Twitter, make sure to tune in. Today, February 25, 2019, we are delighted to announce to the IOST community that the IOST Mainet is officially live!
 IOST is committed to creating an exceptional open source public chain infrastructure capable of high throughput and decentralization. Over the past year, IOST has consistently been at the forefront of GitHub code updates, providing regular technical progress reports to our community and achieving each milestone on the product roadmap on time or ahead of schedule. The IOST team is firmly committed to fulfilling the promises made to our community. We are working closely with IOST's global community of developers to constantly test, evaluate and improve upon various aspects of the IOST platform including network performance, decentralization, security, developer-friendliness and user-friendliness.

| | | Unveiling our First Set of Gaming Dapps | |  Starting 10 March, 2019 IOST will be the fourth most playable public chain platform beyond Ethereum, EOS and Tron. By virtue of our PoB mechanism, IOST will also become the most scalable and decentralized public blockchain available for users and developers. IOST will bring more truly playable Dapps to our community members. To check out the full list, read the announcement here. | | | Community Governance and Reward Distributions Methodologies | |  Staked voting is an important autonomous mechanism in IOST blockchain self-governance. If a Node Partner in the IOST network continuously serve the IOST community, contribute code and participate in governance, the Node Partner will receive more votes from the community.

The purpose of this series of meetings is to bring our Global Node Partners together to discuss equitable rewards distribution rules, share their business plans for the IOST ecosystem, and to draw inspiration and closer collaborations between our Partners. IOST will decide how to distribute contribution rewards and make them available to the community after a comprehensive consultation with the Node Partners. A full summary is available here. | | | IOST Community Opinion: How to Design A Token Economy Model | |  The use of tokens can be seen as a key element for a blockchain project to operate its ecosystem and apply blockchain technology in real use cases. Through tokens, a blockchain project can realize the conversions between digital assets and physical assets.

As IOST's mainnet is releasing on February 25, 2019, we thank all developers who are following our project and participating in our development.
