We are changing the name of P̶l̶a̶s̶m̶a̶C̶h̶a̶i̶n̶ to BaseChain As you might already know — over the last 2 years, we have managed to build EXACTLY what we've wanted with PlasmaChain, with major benefits to developers like: - 1–3 second confirmation times
- Having no gas fees for your users
- Being immune to mainnet transaction congestion
- Being fully compatible with MetaMask and other major Ethereum wallets
...and now, it is time to supercharge this bad boy with some major upgrades. The thing is... to reflect all of the new upcoming changes, we are also going to change the name of P̶l̶a̶s̶m̶a̶C̶h̶a̶i̶n̶ to BaseChain, so it'll be a much more accurate descriptor as we move forward.
