Late last Sunday on November 29, 2020, the Ethereum Classic network underwent the Thanos hard-fork, which activated on block 11_700_000, around November 29, 2020.
Major ETC pools making up the majority of the hash rate supported Thanos as well as major block explorers, and infrastructure providers. Exchanges, wallets, and other services have also completed the activation seemingly without a hitch. The ETC Cooperative, which provides access to several services, such as etcnodes.org, etcnetstats, ethercluster, and Hyperledger Besu all of which are updated. Neither the Co-op or any other organization have been publicly notified of any current issue
With this hard fork, ETC tweaked its hashing algorithm and other components, specifically from Ethash to Etchash. There is a lot of information regarding the newly tweaked hashing algo. Learn more below under "EtcHash
