Da Vinci Capital has filed a lawsuit against Telegram. Da Vinci is reportedly suing the messenger app on behalf of its investors who purchased Telegram’s defunct GRAM tokens. More: GRAM tokens were anticipated to be Telegram Open Network’s native currency before a legal battle with the SEC required Telegram to shut down the network and return $1.2B. Da Vinci agreed to purchase over $72M worth of GRAM tokens and made payments of $45.4M before the SEC action. The case is anticipated to be brought in London and request compensation of around $20M. More international suits are expected to follow.

NASDAQ-listed Diginex Limited (EQOS) announced a 30-day trading volume of $2.9B. The 40% increase in trades on the company’s crypto exchange coincided with a record-high $200M 24-hour trading volume on May 20. More: Diginex is a provider of crypto exchange and custodial services. It also launched crypto lending and borrowing services when it became the first crypto exchange listed on NASDAQ back in October. The crypto exchange received the first digital wallet custodian license from the U.K. Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Diginex’s native token EQO launched in April and is currently trading at around $0.75. The token has increased 50% since it launched, even as BTC dropped 46%.

Fresh funding for Solidus Labs, Blockchain Surveillance: $20M. FTX, Evolution Partners, 645 Ventures, and former CFTC chairman Chris Giancarlo took part in the Series A funding round. More: Solidus provides monitoring and compliance technology for the digital asset market, including tools for monitoring market manipulation.
