Audius Token (AUDIO) skyrocketed 90% following the announcement of a partnership with TikTok. AUDIO is currently around $3.30, which is 30% from its ATH from back in March. More: The partnership will allow artists on Audius to share their music through TikTok videos. Audius currently has many famous musicians on the platform, including Skrillex, Deadmau5, 3LAU, and the Stafford Brothers. The partnership is a first for TikTok’s Sound Kit SDK.

6.73M ETH (~$21.2B) has been deposited in Ethereum 2.0 staking, surpassing the total amount of wrapped Ethereum. The rise in ETH staking volume suggests that the much anticipated Ethereum 2.0 update may happen soon. More: Ethereum 2.0 staking remains locked until the current Ethereum network “merges” with Ethereum 2.0. Although the minimum requirement of 32 ETH to become a validator node was prohibitive, staking-as-a-service companies have helped rapidly increase the total amount of locked ETH. The largest amount of ETH staked totaled 820,500 ETH and was deposited on the crypto exchange Kraken.

🍋Fresh Funding🍋 Bitpanda, Crypto Exchange: $263M ⮕ The Series C funding round was led by Valar Ventures with participation from REDO Ventures, LeadBlock Partners, Jump Capital, and others. More: Bitpanda is an Australian-based crypto, stock, and precious metals exchange founded in 2014. The startup plans to use the fresh funding to accelerate its expansion both in Australia and internationally. Bitpanda gained unicorn status after its $170M Series B funding round back in March and has received a post-funding valuation of $4.1B. CertiK, Blockchain Security: $24M ⮕ The Series B+ funding round was led by Tiger Global and GL Ventures, with no new participating investors from the Series B funding round. More: CertiK previously closed its Series B funding round last month. The startup stated that it raised additional funds to strengthen its position in the market. CertiK offers a smart contract auditing and monitoring platform to protect against vulnerabilities and provide real-time alerts of potential risks. Ondo Finance, DeFi/Lending: $4M ⮕ The seed funding round was led by Pantera Capital and participated in by Genesis, Digital Currency Group, CMS Holdings, CoinFund, and others. More: Ondo is a DeFi lender/borrower protocol based on the Ethereum blockchain launched by two former Goldman Sachs employees. The startup plans to use the fresh funding to expand its team and support more blockchains. Ondo intends to launch a DAO in the future as well as its own token.
