This September Everything Changes For Longterm Holders
A new premium feature has been added to the popular inflation pool system - the feature everyone has been asking for - STAKING 🥳. Expanding the payouts generated by the inflation mechanism, a time-based staking algorithm has been implemented into the Stellar Ledger.
Community participants have approached the Stellar Foundation Board with a plan focused on preserving and growing the ecosystem, while rewarding old and new holders with Lumens that were reserved previously for other goals.
The Staking 🏃Marathon🏃♀️ of September 2022 🥇
For the Staking Marathon, a total of 5.92 Billion XLM have been moved from the Stellar Development Foundation inflation accounts.
Starting today, any XLM holder that has the necessary minimum balance can begin staking immediately upon registration. Please keep in mind that initially, we will only allow 10 000 unique wallets in our first wave of early adopters.
