A pro-Russia hacker group tracked as NoName057(16) has cyberattacked the Czech presidential election campaign. The group targets specific presidential candidates. More: - NoName057, also known as NoName05716, 05716nnm, or Nnm05716, distributed its DDoS attack by targeting victims in Telegram, a popular chat app that is also used by threat actors.
- NoName057 is using GitHub repositories to host its DDoS hacking tools.
- Active since March 2022, the group has only cyberattacked entities that criticized Russia regarding its invasion of Ukraine.
- NoName has previously attacked Ukrainian media outlets such as Zaxid and Fakty UA, as well as organizations with NATO ties.
