Futures Exchange CBOE Files For Bitcoin ETF

So what's happening is that previous ETFs were rejected by the SEC due to lack of overseas regulations (think Japan and Korea) and price manipulation.

BUT, recently the SEC has recently made clarifications, namely their statements on how they don't consider Bitcoin and Ethereum to be securities.

So what do?

Umm, I think they would file for another bitcoin ETF.

ETF Refresher: An exchange-traded fund (ETF) is an investment fund traded on stock exchanges. You don't directly own the underlying securities but rather a fund that represents them all. Stocks, on the other hand, are direct equity positions in just one entity.

TL;DR - This would enable investors in the public market to trade bitcoin.

Woke TL;DR - This should/would/probably (I don't know) pump the price of bitcoin.

The date to mark in your calendar is August 10 (the proposed date by SEC to give its decision).
