1. Bitcoin Cash SV could be vulnerable to double spending, a researcher warns. A user named reizu recently uploaded a video to Vimeo that shows how he exploited the BSV network. He was able to spend the same coin twice, taking advantage of a "0-conf transaction." These types of transactions allow for near instant sending of funds, meaning they are usually confirmed in the subsequent block. –CRYPTOGLOBE

2. Jeff Bezos may be the one to trigger the next bitcoin run. Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance, said in a Twitter conversation that Amazon's acceptance of the digital coin could spark global interest. There have been rumors over the past year that Amazon would be interested in accepting bitcoin, however the retail giant has never publicly mentioned any intention. Those rumors could just be hopeful speculation, though. –FORBES

3. Facebook wants to hire at least five people for its blockchain project. The company posted jobs for a data scientist, data engineer, product marketing lead, and two software engineers specifically for blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Facebook said earlier this year it planned to begin using blockchain but have yet to give any specifics on the project. –COINGAPE

4. Coinbase CEO Brian Anderson said virtual reality could serve as a tool to expand cryptocurrency. He believes that cryptocurrency could become the default currency of VR worlds. "The reason is simple," Armstrong said. "When people transact in virtual worlds, it doesn't make sense to use the currency of one country… Furthermore, digital currency will create an incentive for people to spend more time in these worlds (where they can earn "real money") creating a virtuous cycle for companies building these worlds." –NEWS BTC
