Come to our free hackathon for Cardano smart contracts!

Hello!

Are you an experienced developer? Or have you never written a line of code in your life? The answer doesn't matter! We're inviting everyone to IOHK's smart contracts hackathon day next month in Miami.

Running alongside the IOHK 2019 Summit in Miami, there will be an all-day collaborative hackathon on smart contracts run by the company's engineers using the Plutus and Marlowe development tools. This is a free event on Thursday, April 18 and is open to anyone who wants to explore the power of smart contracts on the blockchain.

The hackathon will have two streams: Plutus, for developers who are keen on working with IOHK's new smart contract platform; and Marlowe, for financiers who want to learn about creating smart contracts or for anyone with an interest in learning about smart contracts. These powerful but easy-to-use tools were launched in December at the first PlutusFest.
You will have the chance to hear about the future of smart contracts first-hand from IOHK's top engineers and scientists. This is a great learning opportunity – with prizes! There will be several prize categories, from the most original idea to the best team player, as well as a grand prize.

Registration for this event will open at 12:00 PM GMT tomorrow (Friday, March 15). There are only 80 seats available and it is first come, first served, so don't miss out!
