The Workshop at UCI brought together an interdisciplinary crowd of students from computer science, software engineering, finance, economics, and political science Elastos was in attendance at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), for the University's Information and Computer Science Week on May 14 through 16. In addition to sponsoring the event and running a booth, Elastos held a workshop in association with the Blockchain Acceleration Foundation (BAF) and the Blockchain at UCI Club, where the the three organizations brought together students to discuss the applications and security mechanisms of blockchain technology, the value of data in the digital age, and how to get involved with Cyber Republic via its proposal process. The BAF, which is already accruing a significant following at Universities across California, is one of the budding communities in Cyber Republic's recently launched CR Regions Initiative, and is actively looking to collaborate with blockchain companies that are seeking developers. |
