Dear community, The month of December, 2018 marked the beginning of a new phase in the evolution of the æternity movement. With the Mainnet launched, all æternity teams are switching gears and have started to reorganize their work and their focus.
The core engineers have moved from the rapid development of the protocol to the monitoring, testing, and improvement of its documentation, as well as to creating guides and tutorials. Development work in December was focused mainly on improving efficiency, mining, upgrades to the æternity node to enable Windows and stratum support, as well as fine-tuning the API. Meanwhile, the æpps team focused on the Base æpp, Ledger wallet integration, the Explorer and future æpps. At the same time, the marketing team started looking for the best ways to showcase the powerful æternity technology and engage the community with contests, content, bounties and events.
