May Recap: Manage BTC within Lisk's Mobile Wallet & More!

Hello and thanks for dropping by for our monthly recap. Let's kick it off with the SDK.

SDK & Network Dev Updates

🔺Majority of QA testing is finished for Lisk Core 2.0.0 and Lisk SDK 2.0.0.
🔺The Lisk SDK Gitter channel is now live. Join Gitter for developer discussions around our SDK.
🔺Alpha SDK: As pointed out on Twitter by Max, the Alpha SDK will be rolled out over three releases: 2.0.0, 2.1.0, and 2.2.0.
🔺Lisk SDK 2.0.0  will be  the official release of the SDK. This version will be used internally to create Lisk Core 2.0.0. You can use it to generate a blockchain without custom transactions.
🔺Lisk SDK 2.1.0 will enable custom transaction support. Even though it's the 2nd release of the SDK, it represents the launch of the Alpha phase because developers will be able to create proof of concept applications.
🔺Lisk SDK 2.2.0  will include an extra step to minimize a huge chunk of technical debt, including removing circular dependencies, usage of callbacks in favor of async/await and third party libraries. The technical debt reduction will improve dev speed and help us detect bugs faster.
🔺Byzantine Fault Tolerance implementation for Lisk began on May 16, and is expected to be included in 3.0.0.
🔺Lisk Commander 2.2.0 will introduce five new commands to help make deployment and management of new nodes as easy as possible.
🔺LIP-0004three P2P features from the proposal have been implemented.
🔺Lisk Network celebrated its 3 year anniversary on May 24.
🔺3 new proposals added to LIPs GitHub repository. (LIP-0013 dynamic fee system, LIP-0014 BFT consensus & LIP-0015 transaction invalidation using nonces)
🔺Lisk climbs to rank #4 on cryptomiso.com for dev activity in the last 12 months & rank #3 for activity in the last 3 months.
