The DXY remains below 100, providing a structural tailwind via the near-perfect inverse correlation tracked all month, while memecoins (+3%) and the Computing Select Index (+2.7%) are leading the day — a pattern that typically signals speculative rotation rather than broad conviction. When BlackRock recommends a 2–4% portfolio allocation to bitcoin, he told CoinDesk, the fund managers managing that capital haven’t actually done it yet. A full institutional build-up, he estimates, could take a year to 18 months. The bull case isn’t wrong, just early: Strategy’s recurring purchases via its Stretch preferred stock, sovereign wealth fund entries, and new ETF flows will “eventually overwhelm the sellers” — but not overnight.
