1. JPMorgan Chase's Interbank Information Network project added real-time settlement features as it expanded to 220 partner banks. Currently, when transactions are sent between banks an error in the recipient's swift code, account number, or other details can result in the payment being rejected days after it was sent. The IIN will provide real-time settlement between partner banks and help to rectify the 5 to 20 percent of payments that fail because of the aforementioned errors in transaction details. The settlement system is expected to go live for both domestic and international payments in Q3 of 2019. -COINDESK
