Elastos Bi-Weekly Update – 27 September 2019 This week Rong Chen presented his vision at the W3C conference in Japan and Alex Shipp's comprehensive narrative was published detailing his journey through China with the core teams. Elastos Academy A Developer Beginner's Guide Developer Portal in Cyber Republic Developer Documentation on Github Elastos Smartweb Alpha Elastos Community Elastos Browser (Trinity) – The first official version has been released, and the community can download and install the app via Google Play or Github. – Completed the centralized version of the DApp Store backend development, which will serve as a temporary DApp release solution before the DApp Sidechain goes live – Completed DApp development specification and introduced a plan to the community developers to complete DApp development – Completed DPoS voting DApp specification design – Inter-application interaction design within Trinity – Resolved other issues with platform version compatibility and community feedback   Hive – Release Hive API-v0.5.0 – Completed Hive IPFS interface support and optimization of carrier offline messages   DID – Defined DID Use case related processes – Developed an adaptation interface for DID-SDK and DID Sidechain   Carrier – Released Carrier Native SDK-v5.4.1 and Android SDK-v5.4.1 to solve the crash problem of SDK on Android 6.0 device – Optimized the carrier offline message mechanism based on the Restful interface provided by Hive IPFS – Completed the development of the Carrier Persistent Group – Continued feasibility testing and testing of seamless migration of carrier instance data between devices   Main Chain – Upgraded the main chain blockchain browser to solve the problem of inaccurate address balance display – Completed v0.4.0 version development, including CR elections and optimization of caching and data persistence   ETH Sidechain – Upgraded the ETH Sidechain browser to resolve issues with partial values in trading and block details – Completed the design and documentation of the ETH Sidechain switch to DPoS consensus – Added community ETH Task Force team to ETH-mainnet whitelist   Elastos Wallet – Completed multi-sign wallet development and started CR related function development work – Completed DID product design related to CR business • Finalizing Elastos Academy Phase 2 Updates • Ethereum Spotlight Complete & Ready for Design • Assisted Community Developer with Ledger Voting Integration • Completed Phase 1 Planning of Elastos Console • Initiated a Job Opening Search for Ionic Developers • October Tactical Plan Complete • Scheduled Elastos Academy SEO Audit and Optimization The Elastos Foundation and Cyber Republic are honored to share Version 1.0 of the CRC Whitepaper. Experts in the blockchain industry gathered to discuss the future as well as ecosystem consensus in the blockchain industry. Elastos won the Best Technology Application Award for Blockchain Industry in 2019. The award recognizes outstanding projects that have had a profound impact on the blockchain industry in the past year and have played an important role in all aspects of blockchain. September 18 Rong Chen, Yipeng Su,  and Jingyu Niu attended TPAC 2019 hosted by the W3C. "The W3C Technical Plenary and Advisory Committee Meetings (TPAC) brings together W3C technical groups, the Advisory Board, the TAG and the Advisory Committee for an exciting week of coordinated work. The benefit of face to face meetings and discussions is invaluable." Rong gave a talk on Elastos with the summary reading, "A Smartweb has its own DIDs, browsers, micro-websites, and instant mini-apps, but no explicit IP addresses, nor communication protocols to prevent network attacks or third party apps from stealing user data."
