It's our third-generation cross-chain atomic swap DEX and it's platform-independent," said Kadan. Listen to the full Brave New Coin podcast here.

Kadan also spoke with Cointelegraph about AtomicDEX and the upcoming web-browser implementation of atomic swaps: "Users who wish to make trades using AtomicDEX will be able to do so by simply visiting a URL and logging into their account; there is no need to download an application." A Word From The C-Suite

"A cross-chain atomic swap basically means that you would have this process taking place between two completely different blockchains, in our case let's say Komodo and Bitcoin. ... The trade itself would be 100 percent taking place on the blockchain. And there are special transaction types, right? It's similar to, for example, multi-signature transactions, I'm sure you know these. It's basically something very similar. We're utilizing time- and hash-locked transactions. It's like a transaction that has a specific condition and unless that specific condition is met, the transaction wouldn't be able to be spent at the end."
