1. Stock and crypto brokerage app Robinhood launched its zero-fee trading app in New York. Robinhood was granted a BitLicense by the New York State Department of Financial Services in January allowing them to operate legally in the state. Robinhood's Crypto service is available in 39 states and allows for the trading of seven major crypto assets which includes bitcoin, ethereum, bitcoin cash, litecoin, bitcoin sv, ethereum classic and dodgecoin. -COIN TELEGRAPH

2. U.S. Presidential candidate Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-California) is accepting donations in cryptocurrency for his campaign. Rep. Swalwell and his campaign are accepting six cryptocurrencies - bitcoin, ether, bitcoin cash, stellar and bitcoin sv. The Swalwell campaign joins candidate Andrew Yang as the only two campaigns to accept donations in cryptocurrency. Speaking about blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, Swalwell said, "Blockchain can change the world if we let it. So much of our public life now exists online, and there's no reason to believe we can't extend this further into our democracy and our economy – from exercising our right to vote, to how we look at cryptocurrency." -COIN DESK

3. Throwback Thursday: This week, 9 years ago, was the infamous bitcoin pizza day. Laszlo Hanyecz made what is thought to be the first real-world transaction involving bitcoin on May 22nd 2010. Hanyecz purchased a pizza in exchange for 10,000 bitcoin. With today's bitcoin price Hanyecz paid an equivalent of almost $80 million for one box of pizza. On May 22nd every year cryptocurrency enthusiasts around the world celebrate bitcoin pizza day to display the significance of the transaction. 

Carrying on the tradition in real-world use cases, Lightning Pizza is an app that lets you order pizza using bitcoin via the Lightning Network. Lightning Pizza allows you to order Domino's pizza with transaction fees less than <$.01.

4. Major telecom company AT&T will accept bitcoin for payment through a partnership with Bitpay. Kevin McDorman, the vice president of Communications Finance Business Operations, said "we're always looking for ways to improve and expand our services," and "we have customers who use cryptocurrency, and we are happy we can offer them a way to pay their bills with the method they prefer." Users will have the ability to choose Bitpay to pay with bitcoin in their payment options. Bitpay, which was founded in 2011, is the largest bitcoin payment processor in the world. -ETHEREUM WORLD NEWS
