TWITTER DIGS BLOCKCHAIN: During a Congressional hearing on Wednesday, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey stated that the social media giant is looking into applying blockchain.

"Blockchain is one that I think has a lot of untapped potential, specifically around distributed trust and distributed enforcement potentially," said Dorsey, who is also known to be a bitcoin fan from his work at Square and personal investment in Lightning Labs. Full Story

DATA RIGHTS: Hu-manity.co is working with IBM in a bid to give users complete control over their personal data. They have backed their efforts by launching an app which is campaigning for the 31st human right – the right to legal ownership of their inherent human data as property.

Marie Wieck, general manager of IBM Blockchain, said that "we tend to agree that data is the next natural resource and like a natural resource has to be mined responsibly in the same way.” Full Story
