1. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is asking for Telegram to provide bank details regarding its Gram initial coin offering (ICO). The request from the SEC comes at a time when new evidence has surfaced which alleges that underwriters requested commission fees for the sale of the Telegram tokens. According to Philip Moustakis, attorney at Seward & Kissel LLP and former SEC counsel, he believes "that the court will eventually require Telegram to turn over the bank records that the SEC seeks." The SEC started its investigation into Telegram's token offering in October. The SEC is arguing that the token sale was an unregistered sale of securities. -COINTELEGRAPH
