The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency threw a wrench into the talks by saying the previous GENIUS Act may not preserve stablecoin rewards programs in exactly the way the industry thought it did. Inaction could cost the crypto side more heavily than the banking side, because the Clarity Act is its top priority. The market is caught between a "war-hedge" narrative for Bitcoin and a "macro-headwind" narrative for everything else. Watch the $63,000 level on BTC—it is the line in the sand for the current trend. View today's report 📊 Market snapshot (as of 8:15am EST) Token Price (USD) 24h Change Sentiment Bitcoin (BTC) $66,245.80 -0.4% Fear Ethereum (ETH) $1,967.12 -2.5% Bearish Solana (SOL) $84.05 -4.1% Volatile XRP (XRP) $1.36 -3.6% Panic Battered bitcoin eyes "debasement trade" amid war As the U.S.-Iran conflict escalates, BTC has retraced to the $66k range. CoinDesk reports that while risk assets are bleeding, some investors are pivoting to BTC as a "sovereign hedge" against war-led fiat inflation.   Implication: If $65,000 holds as support today, it confirms Bitcoin's transition from a high-beta tech asset to a legitimate macro safe haven.   Ethereum ETF outflows hit record high Over $9 billion has fled spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs over the last four months. ETH is currently testing the psychological $1,900 floor—a level not seen since late 2025.   Implication: Institutional appetite is at a cyclical low. Expect further sideways movement until the "Staking Yield vs. Treasury Yield" spread becomes attractive again.   Hyperliquid's HYPE token defies market gravity While the top 10 assets are in the red, Hyperliquid's HYPE is up 5% today due to a surge in volume for on-chain oil and commodity futures.   Implication: Traders are moving away from token speculation and toward decentralized platforms that offer exposure to real-world volatility (oil/gold).
