High-level Overview of Lisk Interoperability 

At the end of March, we released a High-level Overview of Lisk Interoperability which explains the basics of how cross-chain messages and transactions work in our interoperability protocol. Moreover, we unveiled our updated roadmap that contains all the objectives of the blockchain interoperability phase.

Lisk 1.28.0 for Desktop 

At the beginning of March, we released the Lisk 1.28.0 for Desktop. This version incorporates stronger messaging enforcement for users to initialize their accounts on Lisk Desktop. Furthermore, it also fixes regressions in responsive design styling on smaller displays, as well as enabling users to submit improved bug reports via emails. Lisk 1.4.1 for Mobile

On March 25th, we released the Lisk 1.4.1 for Mobile. This version fixes several bugs and also updates all dependencies to the latest versions. The release fixes the blurred-out account balance on the home screen, as well as other visual issues for iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max. Various other security and performance improvements were also added. The new version can be downloaded here.

Build a NFT Blockchain Application on Lisk

In March, we published the NFT (Non-Fungible Token) tutorial in the Lisk Documentation. This newly added tutorial shows step-by-step how to create a blockchain application that supports NFTs. The tutorial provides an overview of the NFT blockchain application and explains the difference between fungible and non-fungible tokens. Furthermore, it describes in detail how to create a custom module that adds the features to create and purchase NFTs in a blockchain application, and also a custom plugin that provides additional NFT-related features.

Announcing Lisk.js 2021

The second edition of Lisk.js was officially announced. The annual Lisk developer-focused event, Lisk.js, will take place on May 21st - 22nd as a virtual event. This promises to be an exciting event where the Lisk interoperability solution will be revealed together with new development updates, developer demos, and much more. Further details regarding the preliminary agenda of the event, as well as the already confirmed speakers, can be found in the published blog post.
