Grayscale announced the addition of Cardano (ADA) to its Digital Large Cap Fund. ADA will make up 4.26% of the fund. More: - Bitcoin (BTC) still makes up the majority of the fund (67.47%), with ethereum (ETH) taking the second largest position (25.39%).
- Grayscale previously included Chainlink (LINK) to the Digital Large Cap Fund (0.86%) back in April.
- ADA has consistently maintained a position in the top five cryptocurrencies by market cap and is currently trading around $1.35.

The Bitcoin Mining Council (BMC) found that 56% of bitcoin mining in Q2 was sustainable. The Q2 report revealed a 52.2% increase in sustainable energy use compared to the previous quarter. More: - BMC is a voluntary global group of bitcoin mining companies and industry leaders led by MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor.
- The research participants and members of the BMC reported that mining operations utilized a 67% sustainable power mix.
- The report additionally found that bitcoin’s network efficiency also increased 15% in the past quarter.
