October 15 was Demo Day for the Kin Developer Program. Each participant presented their live Kin integrations to our selection committee, and 32 will continue toward the program's milestones. Two thirds of the participants received a green light to go directly to the Kin Blockchain's production environment, and the remaining third were asked to make small changes to their experiences before moving forward. All 32 teams have until Nov. 14 to go live on an app store to receive the reward for completing the first milestone ($10,000 USD and 50M KIN).
Additionally, Perfect365 added two new Kin spend opportunities. Kinit also launched a new earn opportunity in partnership with DoSomething.org, the largest organization that mobilizes young people for volunteering, social change, or civic action. Kinit users in the U.S. were able earn Kin for taking the 'Ready to Vote?' quiz, which helped them prepare for the midterm elections.
 Thirty-two Kin Developer Program apps prepare to go live October 16, 2018 Kin Developer Program participants shared their Kin integrations on Demo Day. The apps span several categories, with communications & social, gaming, and health & fitness making up two thirds of the apps in the program. Engagement actions, including liking or contributing content, were the most popular use cases presented for earning Kin, while unlocking premium features or content were the top use cases for spending Kin.
Ten Kin Developer Program apps have already gone live November 1, 2018 Teams have until Nov. 14 to take their apps live in at least one app store. So far, twelve are live; nine are only on Android, two are only on iOS, and one is available on both platforms.
