Komodo Joins an Episode of the Crypto 101 Podcast Komodo Business Development Manager Jason Brown (Polycryptoblog) recently joined Matthew Aaron for an interview on the Crypto 101 podcast. Mr. Brown gives an excellent overview of Komodo and explains why building with Komodo's technology is the optimal way to adopt blockchain. "Komodo is created for blockchain developers. What it brings to the table is a system to allow you to create your own blockchain. It can be Proof of Work, Proof of Stake, or a hybrid mixture. It can be a couple of different algorithms. Currently, we have Equihash and VerusHash but in the future there will be GPU-friendly algorithms, as well." Listen to the podcast here.
Komodore64 Adds Delayed Proof of Work (dPoW) Security This week, Komodore64 added delayed Proof of Work (dPoW) security and Komodo's Notary Node network began securing the K64 chain. The dPoW integration process was managed by Chainmakers, a third-party service provider within the Komodo ecosystem. VerusCoin Celebrates Its First Birthday VerusCoin, a friendly fork of the Komodo blockchain and extremely innovative community-based project, recently celebrated its first birthday. Verus did not hold an ICO and did not have any pre-mined coins. Instead, they began as a fair launch coin on May 21, 2018. Along with the recent one year anniversary of the project's launch, Verus Coin also recently released Public Blockchain as a Service (PBaaS) features within the Verus wallet.The PBaaS features allow anyone to create their own blockchain with just a few clicks.
