Komodo Is Holding an AMA On July 2nd at 5 PM UTC
 On July 15, 2019, Komodo is releasing the Antara Framework and unveiling the newly re-branded Komodo! This will include the new visual identity, new website, new messaging, and updated white paper.
Komodo is holding an AMA on Discord about the release of the Antara Framework and Komodo's upcoming rebrand. The AMA will go live on July 2 at 5 PM UTC.
We will be collecting questions from now until July 2, so if there's something you'd like to ask the team, join the Komodo community on Discord and leave your question in the #antara-ama channel. The questions in the #antara-ama channel with the most upvotes will get answered first!
If we have time, we'll answer all questions dropped in the channel, as well as live questions and follow-ups.

No Blockchain Is An Island
 With the Antara Framework coming soon, it's important to understand the features and benefits that this new release will bring. Earlier this week, Komodo published a blog post detailing the interoperability features that will come with all Antara Smart Chains.
"Komodo's vision is a world of hundreds and thousands of application-specific blockchains working in unison to perform complex business functions in a decentralized and trustless manner. To achieve this, the transfer of value and logic between blockchains – interoperability – needs to be seamless."

Cryptonomist Discusses dPoW
This week, the Cyptonomist published an article that discusses Komodo's Delayed Proof of Work (dPoW) security mechanism at great length.
"The dPoW consensus algorithm, therefore, offers greater security and reduced power consumption. For example, since Komodo uses the Equihash mining algorithm and exploits the round-robin method for mining by notary nodes, the incentives are structured in such a way as to avoid that competition between nodes can lead to excessive energy consumption and waste of computing resources."

HUSH Coin Releases New SilentDragon Wallet for Windows
 The HUSH Coin team has released the new SilentDragon wallet for Windows! SilentDragon is a crypto wallet combined with a private messenger application, allowing users to send encrypted mailing-list style messages to over 50 recipients simultaneously using shielded or transparent addresses.
The Komodo team would like to recognize the HUSH team for all of their hard work on this new product.

HempCoin Prepares To Migrate To An Antara Smart Chain
The HempCoin (THC) team is preparing for a full migration to an Antara Smart Chain! This move will give them increased autonomy and access to Komodo's Antara Module library. HempCoin is developing a supply chain management system with the trustless oracles module that will track cannabis products from seed to sale.
As the migration is coming soon, all THC coins must be moved off exchanges immediately and transferred to the HempCoin QT Wallet. The team will soon take a snapshot of the blockchain so you must hold the private keys of your coins. After the snapshot is complete, the HempCoin team will airdrop the new THC coin from the Antara Smart Chain to all holders.
If you hold any THC on an exchange, please move your coins ASAP!

Zaddex Exchange Launches Public Beta
The Zaddex exchange public beta began this week! Zaddex is a Komodo ecosystem project, developed in a collaboration between RedFOX Labs and the Ø Crypto Union, which are both Komodo ecosystem Smart Chains themselves.
Zaddex has already listed a number of Komodo ecosystem currencies, including KMD, RFOX, VRSC, ARR, OUR, CHIPS, and ZEX, Zaddex's native coin that provides discounts on trading. Bitcoin is also listed for trading.

Pirate Chain Is Completing A Migration From Sprout To Sapling
If you're an early investor in Pirate Chain and you have ARRR coins locked in an old Sprout address, please contact the Pirate Chain support team as soon as possible to migrate your coins to a new Sapling address.
The deadline is June 30, 2019. Please act immediately if you have older ARRR coins in a Sprout address. If you're not sure whether or not this applies with you, it's best to err on the side of caution and check with the Pirate Chain team to confirm.
