The first major event dedicated to the æternity ecosystem, æternity Universe One, is set to kick off in Prague, Bohemia, on September 20-21, 2019.  æternity Universe One presents a unique chance to explore first-mover opportunities for changemakers and tech builders on the æternity platform. It's also the perfect place to meet the team behind the core protocol, features, and applications, and get your plans off the ground.  Early bird tickets are at 50% off. VISIT THE WEBSITE Conference Format æternity Universe One is dedicated to developers and hackers, as well as to entrepreneurs and businesses. We want to gather tech builders and industry movers who can collaborate and create meaningful applications for the greater good. The event will feature two tracks:  one dedicated to the latest research and development in the blockchain space and æternity and another focused on real-world applications of scalable, open blockchain platforms The event will feature multiple hands-on workshops to explain the nuances and complexities of specific parts of the æternity platform—held by the people who built them. Some of the workshops will be focused on developing Sophia smart contracts, running an æternity node, and mining AE tokens. æternity Universe One will also feature an æpps hackathon that will be held during the weekend before the event. A number of decentralized hackathons will also be run by æternity's global æmbassadors network throughout the months before the conference.  These dev-focused exercises will enable teams to develop æpp concepts. The creators of the most promising applications will win a trip to Prague to attend the conference, where they can showcase their prototypes to developers and investors.
