| As some of you may have noticed, the Komodo team did not send out a weekly newsletter for the past three Fridays. That's because, as one of our adjustments for 2020, we will be switching to a monthly format for the newsletter.
The Komodo team will still post a weekly update but, rather than sending it out to the email list, we will publish it on our brand-new Community Portal.
We will send you regular updates but, rather than every Friday, the newsletters will arrive on the first Friday of every month. This is today's first monthly newsletter!

Komodo has one of the most active communities within the blockchain space and the discussions within the community are often insightful and inspiring. Many community members have been involved in blockchain for many years and have plenty of wisdom to share. To promote more thoughtful and educational discussions, the Komodo team is delighted to announce a new platform for the Komodo community— our very own community portal.
To celebrate the launch of this new Community Portal and to help get new people onto the platform, the Komodo Team is holding a bounty campaign with a prize pool of over 3000 KMD to give away! All you need to do in order to be eligible for prizes is to join the Komodo Community Portal. If you want to increase your chances of winning, you can complete more tasks to get additional tickets into the prize pool lottery. There will be one grand prize winner of 777 KMD and 45 winners of 50 KMD each.

The Komodo team is pleased to announce the release of the Komodo 2019 Annual Report. The report summarizes all of the milestones and progress made throughout the year.

Komodo also recently released the Technical Roadmap for 2020. The roadmap outlines Komodo's development priorities along three major aspects of the project: Komodo Core, Antara Framework, and AtomicDEX.

Last, but certainly not least, Komodo is excited to announce that the Fourth Annual Notary Node Election is coming soon! The election will begin on March 15, when VOTE2020 tokens will be airdropped to all KMD holders, and end on March 31. The winners will then be announced.
There are 30 open Notary Node seats up for grabs in this year's election. If you're interested in running for a position as Notary Node Operator, you must announce your candidacy no later than February 28, 2020.
