Crypto exchange Binance is reportedly going to launch a regulated trading platform in the U.K. this summer. Regulated by the U.K.'s financial regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), Binance.UK will be aimed at both retail and institutional investors who will be able to buy and sell crypto using pounds and euros. The platform is planning to support up to 65 crypto assets at its launch. Speaking of the news, Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, said that the U.K. is a "significant financial epicenter." More: A leaked note by Binance's CEO to staff says the platform will defend itself against Chinese competitors who are trying to attack it "using unprofessional methods." In May, Binance hired Teana Baker-Taylor as the platform's U.K. director to oversee Binance's developing presence in the U.K. She will also be leading expansion across Europe. BINANCE

A report from Deloitte shows that 39% of companies have blockchain in production. The survey, which was conducted from Feb. 6 to March 3, 2020, polled 1,488 senior executives and practitioners in 14 countries and found this percentage have already introduced the technology into production. This is a 16% increase from last year's figures. The survey also showed that blockchain sentiment is demonstrating signs of improvement, with 88% of the view that blockchain will eventually achieve mainstream adoption. That figure was 84% in 2018.
