Bitcoin regained 40%, reaching $42K from $30K in less than 24 hours. Chainalysis, a blockchain analytics provider, reported that retail traders, not institutional investors, were the primary catalyst for the massive sell-off of bitcoin yesterday. More: - A recent research note published by JPMorgan suggested that it is too early to characterize bitcoin as oversold.
- Altcoins also made a substantial rebound alongside BTC. Dogecoin (DOGE) jumped 78% after dropping 67%, and Waves (WAVES) rose 95% after a 64% loss yesterday.
- ARK Investments continued to buy additional shares of Coinbase (COIN) and Tesla (TSLA) as the crypto dip bled over into the stock market.

The MLS became the latest sports organization in the U.S. to get into NFTs. An announcement from the soccer league today stated that four NFT art pieces would be released this weekend. More: - The NFTs are related to the upcoming Portland Timbers vs. L.A. Galaxy match on Saturday and the Seattle Sounders vs. Atlanta United match on Sunday.
- The MLS will have the NFTs created live via a Bitski stream on Friday at 3 p.m. PST in a one-hour “battle series” between team representatives.

- Eco is still currently in a closed beta, with an unknown number of users but a waitlist of over 170K people.

- The startup provides loans and mortgage refinancing through its “Provenance” blockchain.

The European mobile trading platform successfully raised funds in a Series C round led by Sequoia with participation from Accel, Founders Fund, Creandum, Project A, and Thrive Capital. - The trading platform offers ETFs, fractional stocks, and recently enabled crypto trading for BTC, ETH, LTC, and BCH.
- Trade Republic only operates in Germany, Austria, and France but still has over $7.3B in AUM and over 1M users.
