 Binance announced that it would halt exchange users in Hong Kong from opening new derivative product accounts. The move comes as CEO Changpeng Zhao tweeted that the exchange will be switching its compliance strategies from reactive to proactive. The SEC announced charges against executives of DeFi Money Market (DMM) for unregistered securities offerings. DeFi Money Market raised over $30M last year selling governance (voting) tokens and interest-bearing ERC-20s.
