Canadian Markets New data from Statistics Canada shows that investors own a large number of homes in Canada. - The provinces where investors control the largest share of homes are Nova Scotia, where 31.5% of homes are owned by investors, and New Brunswick, where investors own 29%.
- Investors own 23.3% of homes in British Columbia and 20.2% in Ontario.
- In Ontario, 41.9% of condos are owned by investors.
