Michael Saylor's firm added 34,164 BTC between April 13–19 at an average of $74,395 per coin — its biggest weekly acquisition since November 2024 — bringing total holdings to 815,061 BTC acquired for roughly $61.56 billion at a $75,527 average. The $292M Kelp DAO exploit — the largest DeFi hack of 2026 — is now a blame game. LayerZero says Kelp ignored repeated warnings to use a multi-verifier setup and instead ran a single-verifier configuration, which let North Korea's Lazarus Group poison two RPC nodes and drain 116,500 rsETH across 20 chains in minutes. Kelp says the vulnerability lay in LayerZero's default settings. LayerZero has now announced it will no longer sign messages for any project running a 1-of-1 verifier setup. Aave lost $6B in TVL in the fallout.
