Hello! The IOHK 2019 Summit is fast approaching with just 6 weeks to go! Project team members from IOHK, Emurgo and Cardano Foundation will all be coming together with the community to discuss all things Cardano. There will be contributions from entrepreneurs in the wider blockchain world as well as other exciting activities and opportunities to network. Below we have some updates on the schedule and speakers - check them out! The Summit's Master of Ceremonies  IOHK has announced the master of ceremonies for the summit - Anu Bhardwaj.  Anu Bhardwaj is an entrepreneur, blockchain influencer, and founder of various organizations, including Women Investing Women Digital, the world's largest digital media platform about women and investing with a special focus on blockchain. She has also led private equity and venture capital trade missions for the US Department of Commerce to the Nordic countries and the Middle East. She joins the summit as the master of ceremonies to kickstart and introduce events each day  New Speaker: Smart Contracts  Another impressive speaker has been added to the lineup. We can't wait to hear from Willi Brammertz. He is a founding member of Algorithmic Contract Types Unified Standards, an association that aims to standardize financial smart contracts. Cardano Foundation has joined this association as one of the first members along with participation from IOHK's Plutus and Marlowe smart contracts teams. Willi's talk will cover the ACTUS system, which supports the entire life cycle of a financial contract and provides an audit for accounting, risk management, and regulatory reporting. You will also learn how the Cardano project is shaping and influencing industry standards for smart contracts.  Charles Hoskinson sets out Cardano 2020 IOHK co-founder and CEO, Charles Hoskinson, will be delivering the keynote speech, titled 'State of the Nation' and you won't want to miss it! He will report on IOHK's goals, products, and the vision for Cardano 2020. Cardano 2020 sets out the blockchain's development strategy for the next year and will lay out future milestones such as staking and delegation with Shelley, and the Cardano treasury model.  Charles was recently interviewed by Cryptocurrency Australia where he talked about the summit. As he says: 'If you're a fan of Cardano, this is the place to be!'
