UPDATES & DEVELOPMENTS -- The AtomicDEX stress test has been announced! It will take place on October 31 from 12:00 GMT to 18:00 GMT. There is a prize pool of over 1500 KMD available to stress testers who successfully complete at least 30 swaps between the test coins RICK and MORTY during the scheduled stress test time. It's important to note that multiple swaps can be conducted simultaneously. It's also important to note that you are encouraged to make as many atomic swaps as possible within the designated time frame. Every swap is equal to one ticket in the pool, as long as you meet the minimum requirement of 30 swaps. If you complete 50 swaps, you will have 50 tickets. If you complete 500 swaps, you will have 500 tickets. There is no limit to the number of tickets that a single address can have, so make as many swaps as you can to maximize your chances of winning a prize. There will be 11 winners chosen at random from the prize pool. A total of 10 winners will receive 77.7 KMD each, and 1 lucky grand prize winner will receive 777 KMD! A WORD FROM THE C-SUITE "AtomicDEX is, for me, likely the most exciting tech layer right now inside Komodo. AtomicDEX is our third-generation, cross-chain atomic swap exchange technology. This means, as you know, a DEX, it means that trading partners will trade between each other, so there’s a straight connection, peer-to-peer, from one trading party to the other. So there’s no centralized entity handling, controlling, or regulating these transactions. The AtomicDEX, as aforementioned, is the third-generation [decentralized] cryptocurrency exchange. We look back on knowledge of around half a decade. In 2013, 2014, we started executing fully automated cross-chain atomic swaps. The big thing with AtomicDEX is that we brought this DEX technology, this layer, natively to mobile and to desktop. Basically, we turned it platform- and device- independent. As of now, we have around two-and-a-half thousand active installations on iOS and Android. These are active users who are trading between each other." -- Komodo CTO Kadan Stadelmann Listen to Kadan's interview on the CoinPM podcast here.
