Hi Insiders, I hope everyone’s had a good week and made a billion on some dog-themed coin like this person did. As we gear up into Halloweekend, I wanted to remind everyone that Halloween also shares the same day as another holiday: Bitcoin Whitepaper day. On Oct. 31, 2008, an internet user by the name of Satoshi Nakamoto released a nine-page technical white paper, “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.” Thirteen years later, without ever revealing himself, his idea turned into a borderless currency with a $1.178T market cap. Many have speculated on who the mysterious individual behind Bitcoin is. Some have even proclaimed themself to be the real Satoshi, but nobody knows for sure. So, if you’re celebrating Halloween this weekend, don’t forget to also leave some extra Sats out for the Satoshis, and you might just wake up to a bitcoin payment from a wallet with 1,148,800 unspent BTC. Happy Bitcoin Whitepaper Day / Halloween! | Griffin | | | |

- CryptoPunks creator Larva Labs stated this isn’t the first time it’s happened, and they are working on removing notifications for these transactions in the future.
