- 35% of NFT traders are on the Flow (FLOW) blockchain, followed by 25% on Wax (WAXP).
- Despite the recent rise of blockchain gaming and GameFi NFTs, digital collectibles and art accounted for 90% of NFT sales in 2021.

 DeFi protocol MonoX Finance was hacked for $31M. The funds lost included $18.2M in WETH, $10.5M in MATIC, and smaller amounts from WBTC, LINK, GHST, DUCK, MIM, and IMX. More: - MonoX is a DeFi protocol that offers swap and earn functionality through its single-sided liquidity pools.
- The attacker reportedly exploited MonoX’s smart contract to inflate the price of its MONO token before swapping MONO out for other assets in liquidity pools.
- The MonoX team confirmed the hack on Telegram and stated that they are working on negotiating the return of the funds.
- According to crypto analytic firm Elliptic, around $12B has been stolen in DeFi exploits this year, and $5.5B has been stolen through the same exploit that hit MonoX.

 Avalanche (AVAX) accelerator Colony raised $18.5M for an investment fund aimed at early-stage Avalanche products. The funding round was led by the Avalanche Foundation with participation from Shima Capital, Hashkey, GBV CApital, and Bixin Ventures.  Coinbase announced the acquisition of crypto security provider Unbound Security. Coinbase stated that the employee acquisition would add key team members and expand Coinbase’s presence in Israel. More: - This is Coinbase’s 13th acquisition this year, with the largest acquisition being India-based Agara.
- Coinbase stated at the end of Q3 that it plans to use its $6.4B in cash and equivalents and $2B in proceeds from senior notes to focus on more acquisitions.
