An energy crisis in Kazakhstan is significantly affecting Bitcoin (BTC) miners. Kazakhstan became a haven for miners following China’s ban on cryptocurrency. More: - According to data from the University of Cambridge, Kazakhstan is the second-most popular country for BTC mining.
- Bitcoin mining rig manufacturer Canaan and mining firm Bit Mining (BTCM) both moved from China back in June.
